Every now and them I make these yummies as dessert for the hubby and I. It’s a quick and easy dessert that doesn’t need much prep time and doesn’t require much thought. It’s so easy to make that I don’t even have a real recipe. Just a list of ingredients. ;)

a delicious puff pastry treat
Ingredients
- 1 box frozen puff pastry
- some sugar
- some cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to about 400°F (200°C).
- Fold out the sheets of puff pastry.
- Combine sugar with cinnamon to taste.
- Sprinkle the sugar & cinnamon mixture over the puff pastry sheet.
- For the twist: Cut the pastry into strips of about 1 inch. Fold the strips in half and twist.
- For the rolls: Roll up the pastry into a log. Using a sharp knife, cut up the log into 1 inch slices. If you want cinnamon rolls on a stick, carefully insert a wooden skewer (thanks again Starbucks! ;) ) into the side of each roll. The stick should almost go all the way through the roll.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with paper.
- Bake until golden brown.
- Note: The cinnamon rolls on a stick are delicious when dipped in freshly made apple sauce! Yum! :)
