If you love coconut, you’ll love this easy recipe! Raffaello, even though they’re a rare treat for me, are one of my favorites. They’re so delicious creamy and coconutty. Yum!
Their website says: “Raffaello, the only pleasure that transports you to a carefree world.” - I wouldn’t go quite that far, but they are extremely delicious!
Luckily, my mom shares the same opinion, so we were on the same page about trying out this Raffaello spread.
{homemade raffaello spread}
By Published: May 1, 2012
- Prep: 10 mins
“Raffaello, the only pleasure that transports you to a carefree world.” ;)
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter {200g}
- 7 ounces white chocolate {200g}
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 cups sweetened condensed milk {400g}
- 1 cup coconut flakes {70g}
Instructions
- Heat butter in a saucepan until completely melted.
- Add the white chocolate to the butter and melt.
- Add sweet condensed milk, vanilla and coconut flakes and mix well.
- Fill into a jar while the mixture is still warm.
Notes
- We did miss the almond that sits in the center of the Raffaello. So, next time we’ll make this recipe, we’ll probably add some almond pieces to it.

I love Raffaello! And I guess I do get pretty carefree when I eat them, As I always end up having too many! :) But is it just me or is there no recipe in this post? x

Oy!
Vielen lieben Dank, Sonia! Sag mir bitte mal bescheid wie es mit den Mandeln schmeckt. Die haben mir in dem Rezept doch wirklich etwas gefehlt. ;)

I hope you’re having a fabulous day as well! Mine’s almost over, but we had a wonderful day. It’s a holiday here in Germany today and the hubby and I spent the day with my dad and his girlfriend. We all went for a bike ride and ended the day with a yummy dinner at a café by the river beach. So much fun! :)

I have never heard of this Raffaello. I love coconut. How would I use this in recipes? Thanks
You should definitely give it a try if you love coconut. :)
The spread is delicious on bread or a croissant. But I can also see it for filling or topping on cake and cupcakes.
Have a great weekend, Susan!

YUM! JUST MADE SOME AND SO HEAVENLY! DOES THIS NEED TO BE REFRIDGERATED AND WHATS THE SHELF LIFE?XX
Oh, I’m so happy to hear you liked it! ;)
It should definitely be refrigerated. As for the shelf life, it’s a little hard to say and homemade things. I would just use your judgement on it and trust your nose and eyes.
I’m sorry I can’t be of more help..
I hope you’re having a fun week!
