Welcome to this week’s {nifty thrifty sunday}!

How is your weekend going?
We’re busy celebrating my hubby’s Birthday and are just relaxing to fill up the batteries for another week of work. ;)

Today I want to introduce you to an absolutely cute etsy shop. Esther from Happy in Red is a fellow European Blogger from the Netherlands and has some mad skills when it comes to crocheting and sewing!

It was love at first sight between the pleated bag and I . Well, at least from my part. I left a comment on Esther’s blog, telling her how much I loved the bag and asked if she was willing to sell one to me. After a few emails back and forth, we decided on a trade. A beautiful handmade bag for me and some German chocolate & candy for Esther. Sounded like a pretty good deal to me! ;)

The bag arrived at my doorstep wrapped in a cute package and a personal note:

I just love everything about this bag — the fabric (inside & out), all the little details and pleats.

I’ve been carrying this bag around to work and out & about and have gotten all sorts of compliments for it. What makes it even more special to me, is the fact that I am the only one in Germany owning this beauty. ;)
