{curtain call(ing)}

This past weekend we finally put up some curtains in our bedroom/office.
A couple weeks ago my brother and I went to IKEA and I fell in love with their flowery fabric. I didn't get around to sewing it to the right length until this past weekend though..
Please don't hate ;) - we had a sheet up on the window since we moved in almost 6 months ago.. We just needed something to block the sun out and the dark sheet came in handy.

My sweet husband acting surprised by me taking a picture. I'm so glad he's always supportive of my ideas and always has a helping hand.

The curtains are finally up..

I love the fabric!

    is it really in germany? how fun! i lived in germany all my life but moved away 4 years ago to homeschool my kids. i'm not sure why, but your view looks so definitely german, or,it doesn't look american or english.
    i love your curtains,by the way! was so distracted by your view that i forgot to say that! :D

    Hi Vanessa,

    I just started following your blog a few days ago and I just got around to looking at more of your posts. I even just realized that you are from Germany/living in Germany. Me too! Well, I'm not from here, but I have been living in Kaiserslautern since May 2009. It's such a beautiful place all year round.

    Really enjoy your posts! :)

    @ Maggie: I couldn't imagine living without an IKEA. The IKEA in my hometown is celebrating it's 35th anniversary this year. So, I never had to do without. ;)
