{guest post: the haby goddess}

Based on the outskirts of The Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne, Australia, I am a very lucky girl who gets to spend most of the day crafting, blogging and playing in my shop — The Haby Goddess.
I’m a sewer not a knitter, I read blogs instead of watching tv and I aim to bring the world of haberdashery to my readers by supporting independent designers, artisans & crafters.
Here’s a little sample of the kind of things I spend my day doing:
1. Showing you how to make cute accessory backing cards from scanning fabric.  These are ideal for personalising gifts for family and friends.

2. Creating a Yoga  Bag for my weekly lesson and sharing the details in a tutorial.  By adding a fabric divider, it keeps the mat from unrolling and separate to all the other bits and pieces I require to carry with me.
3. After 6 years experience attending markets as a stallholder, I love sharing as much knowledge as I can with fellow crafters who are new to the world of market selling.  This article discusses that there is more to the measurement of the day’s success than the total of sales in your till at the end of that day.

I try to bring a variety of crafts, products & sewing techniques to my blog that you may not have seen before.  I get just as excited as my readers when trying new craft products that I’ve come across and I’m in awe of how talented the crafting community is.
A big thank you to Vanessa for allowing me to share a little piece of my crafting world with you all.

    Thanks Gwen, I wish I could get to yoga more often than I actually do!
