Out and About/ Fotographie

{pictures from groningen}

Let me apologize in advance for this image-heavy post. ;)
Like I mentioned in the last Floral Friday, the hubby and I went to Groningen in the Netherlands last week. We had a really good time exploring the city (I haven't been for about 3 1/2 years). The weather was amazing - not too warm and not too cold. All in all just a beautiful day!
I'm in love with the little red brick houses..
..all the pretty details around town..
..and the canal going through the city (not in love with the muddy water so much..)!
It was the first time I've seen the bridge turn to let a couple boats through..
Well, I know most of you live overseas, but if you're ever around here, you should go visit Groningen. Only after you've stopped by my hometown, Bremen, of course! ;)

    Vanessa, thank you so much for sharing the pictures. I am from Spain and all of these old buildings remind me of the streets of Madrid and Barcelona… I love Europe! …Now I feel homesick ;)
