{floral friday #44}

One of my favorite things about having a {floral friday} on this blog each week is, I get to have these beautiful flowers in my home for a while. Especially in the winter time it brings my mood up to have a dash of color in the house. :)

This week's flower I want to share with you is the freesia.

A few facts about freesia:

  • The flowers come in a great variety of colors. White, yellow, orange, pink, red, lavender, purple and bicolors.

  13. I used to grow fressia in my garden. I think they smell like black pepper. It’s an odd smell.

    I love having floweers about. I just pruned my plum tree and brought in a ton of branches that are budding. They’re on the kitchen table in a fishbowl case right now, and they should be open soon.
