{floral friday #68}

Welcome to this week's {floral friday}!

A couple weeks ago I walked past a little flower shop and saw this fun looking plant. When I saw its name,  I was sold! Let me introduce to you: Senorita Rosalita! ;)

A few facts about Senorita Rosalita Cleome:

  • Senorita Rosalita is also known as spider flower because the projecting stamens of the flowers give these plants a spidery look.
  • It blooms from late spring through frost.
  • This hardy plant can take summer's heat and is drought-tolerant. {source}
  • The Cleome Senorita Rosalita has some special qualities that set it apart from other cleomes: no sticky stems, no foul odor and no thorns.

I'm partying here! ♥

    We have a flower here known as spider lilies that look like they have “legs”. Maybe these are distant cousins! Thanks for sharing at Gettin’ Krafty With It!
