A few facts about the flowering Quince:

  • Quinces are popu­lar garden shrubs that are among the first to blossom in the spring.
  • Quinces belong to the rose family and come from eastern Asia. {source}
  • It produces beautiful flowers, but its real treat are its edible fruits, which can be made into jams and jellies with medicinal value as anti-imflammatories and astringents. {source}
