Last night I worked on a little 10 minute project.
I was tired of looking at this (puke) green frame and didn’t like how our wedding picture looked in it anymore. So I decided to just turn it white — one of my favorite colors to decorate my home with.
The white color is the leftover paint I used for my type case project
— white acrylic. Instead of covering it completely though, I just used a rough brush and only applied one coat of paint. Afterwards I used sand paper to roughen the look of the frame even more.
I’m in love with my “new” picture frame!
PS: The frame was one of my really thrifty finds. Somebody had just thrown it out for it to find a new home. :)
