{guest post: the turquoise piano}

Hello fellow readers of Nifty Thrifty Things!  Don’t you just love Vanessa and her blog?!
My name is Kelli Rich, chief executive officer of The Turquoise Piano and the Rich family.  I’m sure you suspected, but that’s my husband and daughter with me in the photo.  I have a passion for all things that have to do with real estate.  I’m a real estate agent and a home stager.  One day when I can pay cash for an investment property I’m going to buy the cat lady’s house and fix it up and decorate it so it’s a house you all would love to live in.
But for now I’m okay with mostly redoing furniture like this piano, the inspiration for my blog.
And my mom’s house when she lets me (and has at least four days for me to subject her to my drill sergeant ways).
But again, right now I LOVE redoing furniture.  And I try to ALWAYS have a tutorial on my blog for the things I do so that other DIYers can learn from my experiences.  This love seat (or settee, as I like to say) was my biggest reupholster project yet and, much to my surprise, it was featured on Apartment Therapy.
So come on over for a visit and if you want to follow me I promise to do my best to keep you interested!
