{nifty thrifty sunday #225}

Hello everyone! Well, I hope there are still some of you showing up to this party. I have been gone FOREVER, I know.. :/

The reason behind my absence is the new love of my life. Our litte daughter was born in the beginning of December and made a dramatic entrance via c-section. It took quite some time to get over that - physically and emotionally.. So, I decided to concentrate on my private life for a while and put the blog on the back burner. I hope you all understand. ;)

Hopefully we'll get the blog back up and running with a little more frequency in posts and the weekly {nifty thrifty sunday}! I really can't wait to get back in to blogging and being creative. And I also can't wait to see all of your creativity!

Here are some of my favorites from the last {nifty thrifty sunday}:

      Thank you SO much, Dawn! :)
      In addition to this little one, we actually are moving. Haha
      So, things definitely won’t get boring. But, I’m really looking forward to decorating the nursery (we don’t have one at this apartment).

      Thank you so much for your sweet welcome back and the congrats! :)
      I hope you and your family will have a wonderful Easter as well!
      Hugs! Vanessa

      PS: The hubby and I decided that we won’t post pictures of our daughter on the internet (or at least none of her face).. We don’t want her growing up and having pictures of herself floating around on the web. Hehe

        I completely agree and understand – I feel the same way and won’t post pictures of my children. But I’m such a hypocrite – I won’t show my own kids faces but I want to see everyone else’s! :). Enjoy every moment girl!

    I happened to pop over and I’m so happy to see you back. Congratulations on your beautiful daughter. I had a C-section with my son too. The most important thing is a healthy baby no matter how they come into your life. Enjoy. Cuddle. Love. Time flies so fast. Mine is in college now.

      Thank you SO much, Carolyn! :)
      Yes, the most important thing is a healthy baby! And, as scary as emergency C-sections are, I am extremely glad that we have that option nowadays.
      I know college-age doesn’t compare to the 3 1/2 months my daughter has been with us, but time DOES fly! Haha
      Happy Easter to you and your family!
      Hugs, Vanessa
