Welcome to this week's {nifty thrifty sunday}! The weather is starting to get more spring-like and the temperature is finally above freezing. Yay! I have to admit that my mom and I were a little discouraged when we met up for a craft date yesterday. The last time we crafted together, the results were.. well.. mediocre. We only ended up with one of the originally six paper mache tea lights. All others landed in the trash.. But this project turned out great! We were really pleased with the results! :) My mom had found the tutorial on a German blog called "dekoherz" a couple weeks back and we just had to give it a try. {lightscoop deluxe review}

You may remember my review about the Lightscoop Original from a few months ago. I still love it for taking pictures after sun down; I was super excited, however, when the nice people at Lightscoop asked me to review their new model, the Lightscoop Deluxe! The way it works is, it slides over the camera's hot shoe and redirects the pop up flash to a ceiling or wall. It helps the flash distribute evenly, without casting harsh shadows.
