{the scarf with no end(s)}

March 22, 2011

After seeing those loop scarves here and there in the blogging world, I thought I would give a try as well and went for it a few weeks back. I never got around to taking pictures until today, though.
There was no particular pattern I used for this.
I started out with a chain of 100 stitches and did a slip stitch in the first to end up with a big loop. The exact amount of stitches depends on what size needle you’re using and how thick the yarn is. Just make sure the loop is big enough to fit over your head. ;)
After that, chain 2 and just keep going doing double crochet stitches until you finish the loop. I did a total of 23 rows and finished it off with one row of single crochet stitches. The amount of rows your scarf requires will also depend on your crochet needle and the yarn you use.

I just love how the scarf turned out! All warm and soft and, best of all, really easy to do!

    That is a very beautiful scarf. I have not crochet anything in a long time and have so much yarn laying around that this would most likely be the perfect project to start out with now.
