This is my absolutely favorite desert right now. It has the right mixture of sweet, sour and creamy. Without being too heavy after a good meal.
Guests always love it and the best part is, it’s easy to make!
Having said that: Happy New Year!!
{heaven in a glass}

ingredients for 4

3.5 oz (100g) meringues
1 1/2 cups (250g) frozen raspberries
1 cup (200g) heavy cream

preparation

Crumble meringues into little pieces. Whip cream until it’s creamy. Fill into a glass bowl or drinking glass, beginning with the meringues, raspberries, cream, meringues, raspberries and cream.
Let sit in fridge for about 2 hours.

    @naturally me creations: It is gooood! I actually tried a variation the other day (for just a little less calories) with a low-fat vegetable based whipping cream. Also pretty good and a little less guilt. ;)

    @Maggie: Meringue is fine white sugar beaten into whipped egg whites. Super light, airy and sweet! You can make them from scratch or buy the ready-made version. :)
