{waffles on a stick}

waffles2

My beautiful mom and I try to meet up at least once a week to spend some mother-daughter time and to get some of our creativity and craftiness flowing. ;)
Last week we found this awesome heart-shape waffle iron that makes waffle hearts on a stick! Of course we couldn't pass it up and tried it the same day. The waffles turned out SO cute. What a fun idea for parties, like baby showers or just along with an afternoon caffè latte with friends.
You can find the yummiest (at least for my hubby's and my liking - hehe) waffle recipe here. Btw, they taste pretty good without the stick, too! ;)

    My waffle maker makes heart shaped ones, once you have cut them apart, but that means the pointed end of the heart is in the middle of the waffle maker, so I can't even attempt these. They are cute though.

    I've never owned a waffle maker. But I know this one would be the one I'd want. My grandchildren love food on a stick. Who could go wrong with these yummy looking waffles. Great photos! Hugs

    I've never been partial to waffles but I think I would love these. I like how much more thin they are and who could resist eating something so cute?

    Your photos are beautiful by the way.

    Isn't this just the cutest thing? I love waffles so this makes it doubly great. I think I will be on the lookout for one such maker. But first I'll try it on my own which makes 4 little hearts which may fit on the smaller stick…
